Trevor Sinclair, a former Manchester City player, has dismissed his former club’s bid for Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester City have been link with a new attack following the release of Raheem Sterling. Which has been linked with Nermar. Previously Pep Guardiola. has already deni.
Sinclair sees the team not needing to bring in the Brazilian forward, citing Neymar’s lack of continuity and inability to compare with Sterling.
“He (Neymar) lacks consistency for me. You might have a good game out of every four games ufabet,” Sinclair told talkSPORT.
“I compared him to Sterling and a lot of people cursed at me. But if you’re a manager, you need Sterling more than Neymar! 3 out of 4 games Sterling will show off well. He might have some bad games, but with Neymar you’re going to face uncertainty.
City have already made a number of big signings this summer. Such as Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips, but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to be linked with the Brazilian.
Neymar has had an up and down five years with PSG since his world record transfer and was even booed by his own fans following another disastrous Champions League exit last season.
The former Barcelona star is currently in training with PSG and played the second half of their 2-1 win against Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale on Wednesday.
